In the Steam mobile app, tap your profile picture, open Account details, and read the 17-digit number under your account name. That number is your SteamID64. If the app does not show it, use the browser method below. Other ways to find an ID are in our complete guide to finding your Steam ID.
- Open the Steam app and sign in.
- Tap your profile picture at the top of the screen.
- Open Account details. On some app versions you reach it through View profile.
- Read the number under your account name. It has 17 digits and starts with 7656119.
Where is the Steam ID in the Steam mobile app? #
It is on the Account details page, directly under your account name. Menu labels change between app versions, so look for the item named Account details, or its translation in your app language. The page also shows your account name, which is your sign-in name. Crop it out before you post a screenshot.
Use copy and paste instead of typing the number by hand. 17 digits are easy to mistype.
Can I find my Steam ID in the profile editor on a phone? #
Yes, if you never set a custom URL. Open your profile, tap Edit Profile, and read the address under Custom URL. If it ends in 17 digits, those digits are your SteamID64. If it ends in a name, you set a custom URL earlier and the number is hidden. In that case use Account details instead.
How do I find my Steam ID in a mobile browser? #
Open store.steampowered.com/account in Safari or Chrome, sign in, and read the Steam ID under your account name. This is the Account details page of the Steam website. Use it when the app menu looks different from the steps above.
What if I only know my custom URL? #
Paste the text after /id/ into the SteamID Resolver. It returns your SteamID64 together with the SteamID, SteamID3, and hex formats. This helps when a form asks for a SteamID64 and all you remember is your profile link.
Example: a GTA RP server whitelist form asks for a Steam hex. A player opens Account details on the phone, copies the 17 digits, and pastes them into the SteamID Resolver. The tool returns the hex. The server side of that process is in GTA RP: finding your Steam hex ID.
Troubleshooting #
- The Account details item is missing. Update the app, then use the browser method.
- You copied the wrong value. The account name is the sign-in name. The Steam ID is the separate 17-digit number below it.
- You see a different avatar. You are signed in to another account. Switch accounts and check again.
- A converter rejects the number. You probably mistyped a digit. Copy it again instead of typing it.
